I made the Fall treat pack and my friends loved it. Since my husband likes to drink hot coco in the winter, I think it will be a great idea to make the Winter vision of the treat pack with hot coco mix in it.
I put two packs of hot coco mix, two traditional red and white candy canes and some green mints in the Acetate Card Boxes. The candy cane flavor go well with the hot chocolate and you can use it as a stir stick. I like the green and red combination so I just put some green mints in the box to bring some holiday spirits.
I used the Pool Party Designer Series Paper from 6×6 Subtle Designer Series Paper Pack. Because the paper comes in 6×6 so I have to cut the paper into 1.5″ x 6″ strips. I glue two strips together to create 1.5″ x 11.5″ (0.5″ is for glue two strips together) so the strip will be long enough to wrap around the box.
To decorate the front of the box, I used Layering Ovals Framelits to cut out the Pool Party scallop oval and white oval shapes. I stamped the snowman from the Spirited Snowmen stamp set. I colored the scalf and had in Real Red Marker, nose in Pumpkin Pie color. I also used the Bronze Blends to color the branch hands and snowman boots. I cut the snowman out and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to raise the snowman up on the oval tag. The “Wrapped in the warmth of Christmas” saying is from Snowflake Sentiments stamp set. I also stamped some little snowflakes on the background so it does not look so empty.
I cut out a large giltter snowflake from the coordinated framelit form Snowflake Showcase promotion. These two stamp sets and framelit are only available in November so you cannot order them now. I think if you used the silver doily or snowflakes from the old framelit/die will still work. It is look nice without the snowflakes.
Here is another picture from the side way. Now it is the time to make more treats!!
