Summer is here and the flowers that represents the summer the most is the Sunflower???. When I see sunflowers I cannot stop smiling. Today, I want to show you a quick and simple card made with the “Celebrate Sunflowers” stamp set. ?

The paper I am using for this card is “Ornate Garden Specialty Paper”. The Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper features lovely flowers plus all-occasion designs for a modern take on classic Victorian floras. Some sheets include gold foil designs. It is excellent for the card making and scrapbooking. I love the gold and brown/yellow color combinations so I think this ornate garden paper is perfect for this sunflower card.

The colors that I used to color the flowers were Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Soft Suede. The Stampin Blend Markers are perfect to color the large images, because you will not leave painting strokes. You also can blend the colors to create a natural flower look.

I used the Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon in this card because I want to tie the color to the sunflower leaves. And I have a lot of this pretty but retired ribbon on hand. It will be super cute to use the new 1/4″ Bumblebee Gingham Trim Ribbon in this card. ?

Here are the measurements for the paper:
