We just had Valentine’s Day candies.  Do you want more!!!  This year’s St. Patrick’s Day is March 17 which is real close to Easter.  Of course I am going to make some candy treats for St. Patrick’s Day.

The new stamp set “Amazing Life” in Occasion catalog has a perfect stamp “Good Luck” for the St. Patrick’s Day treat!!!

I embossed 5 1/2x 6 Granny Apple Green cardstock in Dot To Dot Embossing Folder to create the texture.  I used this paper to wrap around a large Hershey’s Candy Bar.    For the St. Partric’s Day, you have to have the rainbow and the Rainbow Builder Framelits Dies are perfect for this job.

The framelits Dies also come with the dies to cut out the sun, different kind of clouds and even a thunder!!

I used the Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Pineapple Punch, Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue and Highland Heather to cut out each ray of the rainbow.  I glued the rays on the candy bar.

I made a side banners by cutting out the 1 1/4 x 3 strip in Whisper White cardstock to stamped the “Good Luck” in Black Ink.  I also cut 3 1/4 x 1/2 strip in Gold color and 3 1/2 x 3/4 in Shaded Spruce.  I snipped the end with the angle to create the banner look and layered them together.

You can find these Shamrocks in the craft store.  Or you can create your own by cutting out four small hearts and glue them together.  At the end, I tied a bow with the Linen Thread and attached it to the stem of the Shamrock.
