I like to make cards, but I don’t like to make sympathy cards ?. I usually make some sympathy cards all at once and save them in my card box. When I need it, I can just pull one out and send it. It is just very hard for me to make “A” sympathy cards for some one.
I had to make a sympathy card for my dear friend Carol Scalf. She lost her fur baby, Tinkerbell, on Sunday. As you all know that I lost one of my Crafts Purfect cats “Sammie” not too long ago. I can totally relate to how sad she felt. Sammie was sick for a while, so I had time to prepare for it (the time to prepare did not really help too much). But Tinkerbell passed unexpectedly, so it must be 10 times or 100 times worst for Carol.

This is a very simple card, but it took me a long time to make because my mind just goes blank when I make a sympathy card.
Here is how:
- I used Stitched Be Mine Dies to cut out the hearts in Real Red and Blushing Bride colors.
- Stamped the sentiments on the Blushing Bride heart. The “So Sorry” stamp set that I used in this card was retired but there is another similar set in the current catalog that will work on the card as well. The stamp set is called “Sorry for Everything“.

- Stamped the dog form the “Happy Tail” set and used the “Dog Builder” punch to cut out the dog.

- Tied the Whisper White 5/8″ (1.6 Cm) Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon around the card
- Attached the dog and hearts to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Hope I don’t ever need to make this kind of card again ?.
