I like to do scrapbook pages. It’s very easy to use the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack to create the awesome scrapbook pages.
The Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack features maritime images. It has 50 total double-sided cards in 3″ x 4″ and 4″ x 6″ sizes. Six of the cards are 4″ x 6″ single-sided laser-cut specialty cards. There are also four sticker sheets in the pack. These cards coordinate with the Sailing Home Stamp set.

I picked the Ship Steering Wheel laser-cut 4″ x 6″ card for the project. I am using this pretty laser-cut card as a template for today’s card and I will show you how to use the card itself to make another card. It’s like “killing two birds with one stone” deal!!
Here are the measurements for the paper
- Night of Navy:
- 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
- Bermuda Bay :
- 4 x 5 1/4
- 4 x 3/4
- Whisper White:
- (2) 3 3/4 x 5 (one for card cover and one for inside of card for message)
- scraps for lighthouse and tag
Here is how:
- Fold the Night of Navy cardstock in half as card base.
- I put the Ship Steering Wheel laser-cut 4″ x 6″ card on Whisper White cardstock as a template. Then used the Sponge Daubers and Night of Navy Ink to create the image. There are two sides of the laser-cut card: one side has light brown pattern details and the other side has a blank white color. I used the blank white side as my template because I want to show the light brown pattern side on my other card.

- Stamp the seagulls on the Whisper White card stock in Night of Navy color.
- Glue the stamped Whisper White card stock to Bermuda Bay card stock.
- Glue the Bermuda Bay 4 x 3/4 strip to the middle of the card.
- Wrap the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Baker’s Twine around the card and tie a bow.
- Glue the card to the Night of Navy card base.
- Stamped the Lighthouse with Night of Navy Ink and cut it out with the matched image die from Smooth Sailing Dies set.
- Used the Little tag die from the Smooth Sailing Die set to cut out the label. Stamp the sentiment to the tag with the Bermuda Bay Ink.
- Attached the Lighthouse and tag on the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
