Card: Sailing Home Anchor

Today, I want to show you the 2nd card that I created with the SAME Ship Steering Wheel laser-cut 4″ x 6″ card in the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack, that I shared with you on 7/18/2019.

We used the Laser-cut card as a template for the last card and today I am using this laser-cut card to create another card.

Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack
- Ship Steering Wheel Laser-Cut 4″ x 6″ card
- Brown frame 4 x 3 card (one side is the Brown frame and the other side is the lighthouse with the sentiment “our story”)

Very Vanilla:
- 4 x 6
Shaded Spruce:
- Scrap for the seaweed
Whisper White:
- Scrap for the Anchor

Here is how:

Fold the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Large Specialty Cards base inside out, so your inside message area has some extra details. Because the Ship Steering Wheel Laser-Cut car is in 4″ x 6″ size, the card base need to be a little larger than normal size card base. The Magnolia Lane Memories & More Large Specialty Cards & Envelopes are the perfect size for this project.

Blank side as card front

Glue the Ship Steering Wheel Laser-Cut card on Very Vanilla 4 x 6 card stock. Then glue it to the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Large Specialty Cards base.
Wrap the Linen Thread around the card and tie a bow.
Stamped the sentiment on the Brown 4 x 3 card from Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack in Early Espresso Ink.
Glue the stamped Brown 4 x 3 card to the card based.
Stamped the Anchor with Early Espresso Ink and use the matched framelit to cut the image out.
Used the Seaweed die from the Smooth Sailing Die set to cut out the Shaded Spruce color seaweed.
Glue the seaweed, Attached the Anchor and Ship Steering Wheel trinket to the card.
The Magnolia Lane Memories & More Large Specialty Cards & Envelopes came with the envelop insert. The printed insert has green leaves details. I need the nautical theme envelope insert to match the card that we are making today, so I stamped the compose image on the blank side with Crumb Cake Ink.
