Card: Royal Peacock Feathers

Here are the measurements for the paper

• Basic Black Card Stock:
  • 8 ½” x 5 ½ (cut 11 x 8 ½ paper half in long way)
  • 5 1/2 x  1 3/8
  • Scraps for the feathers
• Whisper White Card Stock:
  • 5 x 3 3/4 (for the colors)
  • (2) 5 ¼ x 4 (one for inside the card and  one for the card front)
  • 5 1/4 x 1

Here is how:

• Fold the Basic Black card stock in half as card base.
• Glue the Whisper White card stock inside the card for message and on the card front.
• Use the sponges to color the Whisper White card stock to create the colorful background.  I used the circle motions to add the color to the card to smooth out the dots and lines.

• Glue the colorful background to the card.
• Used the Detail Peacock Dies to cut out the feathers in Basic Black Card Stock.
• Randomly glue the black feathers on the colorful background paper.
• Used the Well Written Die to cut out word you want.  There are so many choices you can choose from this set.  The Well Said stamp set works great with these dies.

• Stamped the sentiments and cut out word to the 1 x 5 1/4 Whisper White Card Stock.
• Glue the 1 x 5 1/4 Whisper White sentiment strip to the 5 1/2 x  1 3/8 Basic Black Strip and then glue to the card.
• Decorate the card with Faceted Gems.

You can make this design into the cards for all of the occasions.  I made one birthday card and one sympathy card and here is the closer view of it.
