Treat: Rabbit Sweet Cups

I have been seeing a lot of cute projects that were made from the new Treat Cup in the New Occasion Catalog. I wanted to make something cute also. Easter is the holiday that we eat a lot of “Treats” so I decided to make a rabbit using the Treat Cups.

Here is what you need:

Black Cardstock
- Eyes: (2) 5/8″ circles
- Whiskers: (2) 3 1/2 x 1/16
Whisper White Cardstock
- Cheeks: (2) 3/4″ circles
- Eyes: (2) 1/8″ circles
Very Vanilla
- Ear base: (2) 3″ circles from Layering Circle Framelits Dies
- Ears: (2) 1 3/8 x 2 1/4 ovals from Layering Oval Framelits Dies
Powder Pink Cardstock:
- Ears: (2) 1 x 2 ovals from the Layering Oval Framelits Dies
- Tone: (1) 1/2″ circle
Rose Glimmer Paper
- Nose: Small heart from Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (Retired but I think you can use any small heart if the size fit).

Here is how?

Punch/cut all the pieces out
I sponged the cheeks in Powder Pink Ink and marked some dots with Black Markers
To assemble the rabbit face together, you will need to put the lid on before you glue the eyes so you know how low the lid will be. After I glued the eyes down, I glued the two whiskers cross to each under the eyes.

I glued the tongue under the whiskers

I glued the cheeks on top of the whiskers and punched out the little heart on Rose Glimmer Paper as the nose to put on top of the cheeks.

Now it is the time to make the ears. First you fold two 3×3 circles in half and then glue them back to back.

Glue the ears on the standing half circle
Cut the extra area as detailed in the picture to show only two ears. For the area between the two ears, you fully cut it out. For the areas by the ears, only cut the curved area by the ear toward the base.

Here is it sideways to see what is looks like

Glue the two flaps toward the back and attach a bow to the front of the ears. Here is the back side of the picture and you can see how these two flaps were glued toward the back of the ears side.
