😊😊Happy Sunday😊😊
Taiwan is a subtropical island. Because of the warm weather, we have a lot of fresh fruits all year long. I was able to pick some tangerines from our family friend’s farm. The farm is open to the public from June to February. They have Dragon fruit, passion fruit, and five different types of tangerines. They also have experience classes that teach you how to make jams, syrup, dry fruit and fruit cleaning products.
David is learning how to pick a tangerine.
We also went to the Mulberry Farm next door. It is out the season now so you can only see very few berries on the branches.
There are so many health benefits from the mulberries, so it is widely used in Taiwanese’ people’s diet. We eat berries, drink mulberry juice and use mulberries in the bread and cakes. They even make the herb tea from the mulberry leaves.
This is a sign to teach people how to pick the mulberries.
