I just received new “$100 Free” items from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. The Painted Seasons Bundle came with a pack of beautiful Designer Series Papers and coordinated stamp sets. The new papers have natural plants images that you can stamp in different colors to recreate different seasons. One of the papers has succulents and that reminds me of the “Paper Pumpkin stamps” that I just showed you last week. I am going to make a card to show you the new cool paper with the Paper Pumpkin stamps.

I want to show case this beautiful paper so I decided to do a fun fold card today.
Here are the measurements for the paper
- Call Me Clover – 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 (cut 8 1/2 x 11 paper in half in long way), 4 x 1/2, 3×3 for scallop circle
- Powder Pink – 5 1/4 x 4
- Whisper White- 5 1/4 x 4 (for inside of the card), 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 for circle
- Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper- 4 x 9 7/8
Here is how:
- Fold Call Me Clover paper in half.
- Score the 4 x 9 7/8 Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the long side at 1 1/2, 2 1/2, 4 1/2, 5 1/2, 7 1/2, and 8 1/2 inches.

- In the DSP short side, leave one inch from the top and cut diagonal as the picture below.

- Fold the DSP on the lines that we just scored and glue all of the “Pleats” together. Then glue the “Pleated” DSP on the Powder Pink cardstock. I left the 2″on the top and that lead me to trim the bottom of the DSP. You can adjust the DSP’s height as you wish. Then stamp the sentiment on the Powder Pink card. I chose the “Thank you” for this card.

- I used the 4 x 1/2 Call Me Clove strip to cover “Pleats” DSP top to cover the edge.
- I used the Layer Circle Framelits Dies to cut out the Call Me Clover color scallop circle and Whisper White color circle.
- Stamped the “Succulents in the Cup” in the Whisper White circle in Memento Black Ink.
- Colored the “Succulents in the Cup” with Stampin’ Blends Markers. The colors I used were Light Pool Party, Light Bermuda Bay, and Light Smoky Slate. First, I colored the whole succulents in Light Pool Party color. Then I used the Light Bermuda Bay marker to color from the top succulents down. So, the top of the succulents has a darker color.

- Then I colored the cup with the Light Smoke Slate marker. The places that I wanted the darker color, I just use the same marker to go over it again until the darkness I liked. Attached the Whisper White circle with the image to the Call Me Clove scallop circle.

- Used the Stampin Dimensionals to attached the scallop circle. I only used the Stampin Dimensionals on the top of the scallop circle and use the glue on the scallop circle that over the “Pleats” area because it is very thick with layers of the paper.
- Tied a bow with 1/8″ Grosgrain Call Me Clove Ribbon and glue the bow next to the Call Me Clove scallop.
- Last, decorate the card with more Bling (Clear Rhinestone).
Here is another vision of the card to show case the other side of DSP. I made some changes for the cardstocks. I used the Light Pool Party, Light Granny Apple Green and Dark Call Me Clove Stampin’ Blends to color the succulents.

Here are the pictures for both cards side by side so you can see the difference.

Hope you like the cards that I showed you today. Now, it’s time to play with other Designer Series Papers with more fun colors!!
