So Glad We are Friends-Incredible Like you

I am not sure why when I see this “Incredible Like You “stamp set, I think about one of my shirts. The weird thing is that the flowers on my shirt does not look like the flowers in the stamp set at all. I decided to use this stamp set to make a card with these color combinations.

This is the card that I created. The black card base makes the card look very elegant. I stamped the Black strips in both horizontal and vertical lines on the White cardstock. I also stamped Calypso Coral flowers on the Grapefruit Grove cardstock. I stamped the Old Olive leaves on the Pear Pizzazz cardstock. Then I hand cut the flowers and leaves out.

When I assembled the flowers and leaves on the card, I added some Gold Metallic Thread in between the flowers and leaves to make it look “fancy”. I know a lot of people have problems to make the thread/twine looks nice and random.

Here is the trick: use the thread to tie a bow like the picture above. When you put the flower/leaves/tag on top of it, it will create a good look. If you want to have more than two loops, you can use two or three threads to tie a bow. I like to use two threads in different lengths so it has more than two loops and looks more natural.

Here is the look after you put the flowers and leaves on top of the thread.

I also added some Rhinestones on the card. Because I used the Gold Metallic Thread so I colored my Rhinestones with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. Stampin’ Blends are the alcohol based marker which not only can blend colors well without seeing the brush strokes but also can be used to color the accessories to change its color.
