The first fundraiser of 2019 will benefit the Hope Is Alive organization.
Hope Is Alive is a non-profit program that is not just an ordinary sober Living house. It is a ministry founded by Lance Lang. Hope Is Alive does mentorships with their residence to help them in their struggles with addiction. They teach them how to learn to get their life back and learn how to do life. Jesus is their foundation. We are very excited to raise the fund for them this time.
At the fundraiser class, you will make 14 cards in 7 different designs. The fee for the class is $25.00. The $20.00 goes to the organization and $5.00 is to cover the cost. As usual, each of the demonstrators need to make some door prizes. We had 248 people signed up for the class this time so each of demonstrator needs to make 25 door prizes.
If you are like me a paper hoarder, you will have a lot of Designer Series Paper. I am running out of space to store the papers so I think it is the time to let go the retired paper so I can have space for the new ones. I came up with this “Box of the Designer Series Paper” and hope the ladies like them.
The Acetate Card Boxes is perfect to hold the 40 pieces of Designer Series Paper. I cut 12 x12 paper into 5 1/2 x 4 size. Each 12 x 12 sheet can cut into 6 small pieces and you have one 1 x 12 paper left to make the belly bend for the box.
I really like the sentiment “Do Something Awesome every Single Day” from En Route Stamp set. I stamped the saying on the Whisper White cardstock and used the Stitched Labels Framelits to cut the label out. I also used the Stitched Seasons Framelits Die to cut a Black frame. I really like this artsy frame of stitched look and the best thing is this frame set is on sale right now. If you haven’t got yours, it is the good time to get it. Then, I cut 10″ ribbon that match to the belly bend color and used Scotch tape to tape on the Black frame.
I used the Stampin’ Dimensionals to glue the Whisper White label on top of the Black frame. Then I tied a bow and glued on the center of the label. Here is what the side way of the paper pack looks like.
Here are some color combinations paper packs.
