Hey Love Friendship Card

There is always one super CUTE stamp set in the Occasion Catalog for Valentine’s Day. There is no different this year. This year’s stamp set is Hey Love. This set is perfect to make the candy treats for the kids in school.

I love these cute animals and the words in this stamp set. I think this set can be used in many other occasions not only for Valentine’s day so I created a “Thinking of you/Friendship” card by using this set.

The card base for the card is Whisper White. I layered it with Crumb Cake. I also embossed the Crumb Cake card stock with Tufted Embossing Folder to give it some texture. I Stamped the skunk and the words in Black and colored the skunk with Light Smoky Slate Blends. I stamped the flowers in Flirty Flamingo color and accent with Lovely Lipstick color. I used Granny Apple Green and Soft Sea Foam colors to stamp the leaves for the flowers.

I wanted to create the look of skunk sprinkling the love so I stamped more little hearts by coloring the stamp on only the heart part and then stamped on the paper
