Card: Glad We’re Friends Squirrel

Another quick and cute card for Good Friday.  This cute squirrel is also from the Fable Friends Cling Stamp Set.  

Here are the measurements for the paper

• Night of Navy-
  • 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (cut 8 1/2 x 11 paper in half in long way)
• Whisper White –
  • 4 x 5 1/4  (for inside the card for message)
  • 3 x 3 (circle)
• Pool Party –
  • 3 1/4  x 3 1/4 (cut out scallop circle)
• Daffodil Delight-
  • 3 x 1/2
• Needlepoint Nook 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (DSP)
  • 4 1/4 x 2

Here is how:

• Fold the Night of Navy paper in half.
• Glue Needlepoint Nook DSP on Night of Navy cardstock.
• Use Layering Circles Framelits to cut out the Whisper White circle and Pool Party scallop circle.
• Stamp the squirrel on the Whisper White oval.
• Use the Light Pool Party, Light Crumb Cake, Light Daffodil Delight, and Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend Markers to color the squirrel and flower.
• 

• I also used the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to paint over the flower to give it a little bit “bling”
• Glue the Whisper White circle on the Pool Party scallop circle and use the pop dots to attach to the card.
• Stamp “Glad we’re Friends” on Daffodil Delight paper and cut both ends to create the “banner” look.
• Pop Dot the Daffodil Delight strip on the card.
