Treat: Free As A Bird Thank You

Happy Sunday!!

I made these easy and cute treats for the people who came to the Fundraiser as a “Thank you” gift. Some of you wanted to know how to make it so I am going to share it with you today.

Here are the measurements for the paper:

Calypso Coral:
- 2 x 7 (scored at 4, 4 1/2, 6 1/2)
Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper:
- 1 3/4 x 1 3/4

Here is how:

Fold the Calypso Carol in the scored line.
Used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch to cut on the 4 inch side.

If you have the Corner Punch, you can round the two corners. If you don’t have the punch, it’s okay, the project will still look cute.
Glued the DSP on the 2 x 2 square area and fold the paper as pictured below.

Put the candy in the pocket and used 12″ of ribbon to tie around the paper to secure the pocket. I used the small Hershey’s Chocolate Bar in this project because this candy is flat so it is easier to work with. If you decide to use other type of candy bars, you may need to adjust the 2nd scored line to make the base a little bit wider.

Used the Glue Dots to glue down the small flap.
In the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper pack, there is a sheet of paper that is full of birds. These sweet birds are so pretty and in all difference colors and positions. I just cut out a couple of them and used in this project.

I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies to cut out the label in the Pool Party color and stamp the “Thank You” on it.
Used the Stampin’ Dimensionals to attached the bird and label to the candy holder.
