Card: Forever Lovely Birthday

Another card I created by using the same How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper. I wanted to show you how versatile this paper is. You can use this paper to make a CUTE card and you can also use the same paper to make an ELEGANT card. Today’s card is a girly card with some pretty roses.

Here is the measurement for the paper

Whisper White – 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 (cut 8 1/2 x 11 paper in half in long way), 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 (stitched oval), scrap for the roses.
Melon Mambo- 4 1/2 x 2 1/4
Pear Pizzazz- scrap for punch out leaves
How Sweet It is Designer Series Paper- 4 x 1 1/2

Here is how:

Fold Whisper White paper in half.

Stamp the roses in Highland Heather color. The roses are from the Forever Lovely Stamp set. The large rose is the single stamp and it also has the framelit to cut the rose out. The small rose is from the stamp with several roses and I chose the one that I like and hand cut it out.

Use Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut out the largest oval in Whisper White paper.

Stamped the “Happiest of birthday to you” in Melon Mambo ink on the oval. The sentiment is from the “Picture Perfect Birthday” stamp set.

Use the “Leaf Punch” to punch out the leaves.

Assemble all of the pieces together on the card: How Sweet It is DSP, Melon mambo paper, Whisper White Oval, roses and leaves. At the end, I used the Silver & Petal Pink twine to tie a bow and attached it next to the roses.
