Today I want to show you if you have some scraps that are not big enough to be punched out, how you can use them. I make quilts as well so, I remember when I have a lot of scrap fabric left over from the projects my teacher taught me to do a “Crazy Quilt”. This will allow me to connect all the scrap fabrics into a larger piece of fabric and then use the fabric to make a small cosmetic bag. I am using the same concept with my scrap paper.
First, you will cut one piece of base paper. It can be any shape. You start by putting the glue or snail adhesive on it and then put the paper on it like a puzzle. When you do a crazy quilt, you don’t leave any space in between the paper. When we did the cards by using the Tailored Tag punch the other day, we want to showcase the Tailored Tag shape so we leave some space in between. When we do the “Crazy Quilt” technique, we want to show case the beauty of the paper.
