Cards & Video: Copper Dotted Treat Bag Cards

Last week, I showed you a project for the beautiful Easter candy treat by using the Copper Dotted Treat Bag. There is an extra piece of paper left from the project. You know me, there are no paper or craft supplies that goes to waste in my house, so I have to create a project to use the leftover paper.

I came up with two cards. The first card is the Easter card that I have the same design as the Easter Candy treat which I showed you last week. It will be a perfect pair when you give someone a cute treat with a card to go with it.

Here is the measurement for the “God is Love” card:

Gorgeous Grape card stock:
- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (card base)
- 3 x 4 (scallop oval)
Whisper White card stock:
- 4 x 5 1/4 (inside the card for the message)
- 3 x 4 (Oval)
- 3 1/2 x 2 (“God is love” banner)
Copper Dotted Treat Bag: Leftover paper or 5 x 3 1/2

I think the Red colors go well with the Copper color so I came up with a “Birthday card” to use this leftover paper from the Copper Dotted Treat Bag. The stamp set I use is the new “Easter Promise” in the mini catalog. I like the Red and Yellow combination, so I picked the flower from this stamp set for this birthday card. This will also give you an idea that the Easter stamp set actually can be used to create other occasion cards.

- 4 x 5 1/4 (inside the card for the message)
