I really like this cute little guy.  The 5th project of the “10 Weeks of Christmas” series is this quick and cute moose card.  I am not an outdoors person, however  I just love the country look of this stamp set.

The designer series paper that I used for this project is “Come To Gather”.  This paper features autumn images in nontraditional style.  A lot of you probably will only see the pumpkins and leaves on the paper.  There are actually a lot of other patterns that are so versatile that you can use them to create all kind of projects.  Today, I used one of the plaid papers to create this Christmas card.

Here is the card from a different angle

Here are the measurements for the paper:

  • Pear Pizzazz:       8 ½ x 5 ½
  • Early Espresso: scrap for the moose
  • Shaded Spruce: 1 ¾ x 5
  • Designer Series Paper (DSP: 4 1/2 x 1 1/2

Here is how:

  • Fold Pear Pizzazz CS in half as card base.
  • Stamp trees with Shaded Spruce color to the card. I double stamped so the trees have two shade of greens.
  • Glue DSPs to Shade Spruce CS.
  • Wrap a ribbon around the DSP strip and glue it to the card.
  • Tie a bow and attach it to the card.
  • Stamp sentiment to the card with Cherry Cobbler ink.
  • Use Moose Punch to punch out the Moose and attach it to the card with pop dots.
