I want to show you the 7th project of the “10 Weeks of Christmas” – Christmas Gleaming Card.
The stamp set I am using today is Christmas Gleaming. The ornaments in the stamp set have the gorgeous details. The best thing is that these ornaments has the matching punches to cut them out. 🙂
Here are the measurements for the paper:
- Real Red (102482): 5 ½ x 8 ½
- Copper Foil Sheet (142020): Scrap (sprigs and “Merry Christmas)
- Old Olive (100702): Scrap (sprigs)
- Vellum Cardstock (101856): 3 x 4
- Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP: Scarp for ornament
- Whisper White (100730):
- (2) 5 ¼ x 4 (One for inside the card and one for cut oval)
- Scrap (ornament)
Here is how:
- Fold the Real Red CS in half in the long way as the card base.
- Glue the 5 ¼ x 4 Whisper White CS inside the card for the message.
- Randomly stamp the Real Red card base with “dots” and “curly border” stamps in Real Red Ink for the background.
- Cut the White Oval frame and embossed the oval frame with Heirloom Frames Dies and Embossing Folder.
- Glue the Vellum Cardstock behind the embossed Oval Frame.
- Glue the embossed oval frame to the card base.
- Punch out two Cooper Sprigs and two Old Olive Sprigs.
- Arrange and glue the sprigs to the top of the Oval Frame.
- Tie a bow with Real Red ribbon and attach to the center of the sprigs.
- Stamp the ornament wit Pretty Peacock Ink and punch it out with the Gleaming Ornaments punch.
- Punch out another ornament with DSP.
- Arrange and glue the ornaments to the card. I glued the DSP ornament to the card and use “pop dots” for the stamped ornament.
- Cut out “Merry Christmas” with Word Wishes Die in the Copper Foil Sheet and glue the sentiment to the card.
