Today I am showing you another card made from the scarp paper from the “From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper “.  This is another example of using this “valentine” paper to make “non valentine” card.

I believe that you are like me that has a lot of little pieces of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from all of the projects that you have been working on.  The way I saved my small pieces of scarp designer series paper is to keep everything in its original pack.  The sticker on the bag always tells you what is the coordination colors for the DSP, so you can easily find the best color combination for your project to use the DSP with.

The card that I want to show you today was created from the “Believe You Can ” stamp set.  This stamp set is exclusive only for the hostess.  Everybody like flowers.  This stamp set  has many flowers and sentiments that make it so versatile to create the cards for all occasions.

Here are the measurements for the paper:

  • Whisper White:
    • 4 ½ x 4 ½
    • 2 ½ x 4 (label)
  • Pool Party:
    • 8 ½ x 5 ½
  • From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP)
    • (4) 2 x 2

Here is how to make the card:

  • Fold Pool Party CS in half in the long way as card base.
  • Glue 4 DSP on the Whisper White CS.
  • Wrap one ribbon around the DSP before glue it to the card base.
  • Another ribbon loop through ribbon on DSP and tie a knot
  • Stamp the image on the 2 ½ x 4 Whisper White CS and color it with the Stampin’ Blends.
  • Use Stitched Nested Label Die to cut the image out.
  • Use “pop dots” to attach the Stitched Nested Label to the card base.
  • Add “Bling” to the flower centers.
