I haven’t done the Good-Better-Best projects for a while. I tried to make a In-Color inspired card for the new 2020-2022 Bumblebee color. I started with a very simple design, and I felt that was too plain. Then I add more layers. Then I decided to add more elements to the card. After a couple of tries, I came up with a card I really liked. I feel this card will be a great post to show you how to step up and dress up the cards.
The stamp set that I used is “Beautiful Moments”. The beautiful line-art images of women and children in the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set are perfect for watercolor or masking techniques. You can use them to make greeting cards to celebrate the women in your life. This stamp set was inspired by Million Sales Achiever, Jacque Williams.
Good Card
This card only use two pieces of paper with a matching color bow. I used the masking techniques to “COLOR” the mom and child’s clothes. First you stamp the image on the DSP and then hand cut out the shirts and skirts. Then you glue the cut out images to the stamped images on the Whisper White label.
Better Card: This card is a step up card from the basic card by adding a black Celebration Label behind the Whisper White scallop rectangular.
Best Card: Step up the card by randomly stamping the flowers in the card base and add Rhinestones to the card. I also colored the skin and added the shadows to emphasize the images.
