Card: Artfully Aware- I’m Here For You

I was able to meet one of the sweetest top sale demonstrators at the Orlando convention last November.   Janet Wakeland was a One Million Sales Achievers in 2018.  When you sell $1,000,000 in  the Stampin Up world, you can design a stamp set.  The “Artfully Aware” stamp set that Janet designed was for the Alzheimer’s disease awareness.  The stamp set was inspired by her mom and she wanted to express her support for the families that experienced what she is going through.  She presented her stamp set and the samples that she made with this stamp set on stage at the convention.  I was able to talk to her in person after her presentation.  I shared with her how her stamp set inspired me and the colors that she used and samples she presented on stage fit perfectly with the fundraiser we planned for the March of Dimes.  She was so sweet to give me all of the samples so I can use them in the fundraiser.

Today, I am going to show you a card made with this special stamp set.

Here are the measurements for the paper

• Pool Party-
  • 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (cut 8 1/2 x 11 paper in half in long way)
• Whisper White –
  • 4 x 3 (cut out oval)
  • (2) 1 1/2 x 4 1/4
• Happiness Blooms 12″ X 12″ Designer Series Paper (DSP)
  • (2) 1 1/4 x 4

Here is how:

• Fold the Pool Party paper in half.
• Layer Happiness Blooms DSP on Whisper White cardstock and glue to the Pool Party card base.
• Use Layering Ovals Framelits to cut out the Whisper White oval.
• Stamp the image and sentiment on the Whisper White oval.
• Use the Stampin’ Demontionals to attach the oval to the card base.
• Tie a Pool Party color bow and attached the bow to the oval.
