Treat: Above the Clouds

The stamp set that I want to feature this week is called “Above the Clouds”. The best thing about this set is that there is a punch to cut out the hot air balloon, the basket and the banner.

Today’s project is a candy treat gift for those who came to my Annual BOGO Sale. These candy treats are easy to make and super cute.

Here are the measurements for the paper

Whisper White:
- 8 1/2 x 2 (long side-score at 3 1/2 and 5)
- 2 x 3 (for hot air balloon)
- 1 3/4 x 1/2 (for “Thanks”)
Soft Suede
- scrap for the hot air balloon basket
In Color 6×6 DSP (2019-2021):
- 1 1/2 x 2
- (2) 1 x 3 (to wrap the candies)

Here is how:

Fold the 8 1/2 x 2 strip in the scored lines and use the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch to cut from both ends.

Used 1 x 3 DSP to wrap around the chocolate. I used the Hershey’s Chocolate Nugget for this project.

Stamped the ” clouds” on the strip with Seaside Spray color.
Glued the 1 1/2 x 2 DSP on the strip over the clouds.
Stamped the hot air balloon on Whisper White paper. I also stamped the banner on the balloon.
Used the Hot Air Balloon Punch to punch out the stamped hot air balloon.
Stamped the “Thanks” on 1/2 x 1 3/4 Whisper White sentiment strip in Soft Suede Ink. Cut the angle on the sentiment strip to create the banner look and glue it on the strip. The “Thanks” is from the Well Said stamp set. There are many good sentiments in this awesome set. If you can only get one sentiment stamp set, this is the one to get!!

Used the Hot Air Balloon Punch to punch out the basket in Soft Suede color.
Attached the Hot Air Balloon and Basket to the strip with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
